ORCHARD TEST

It’s time for your child to take their Math and Language Arts Orchard Test once again.  This is a valuable tool for identifying your child’s progress in Math and LA at this point in the school year.  They were tested at the beginning of the school year.  The test scores will be analyzed to provide feedback on their individual progress this far.   Please encourage your child to do their best.

SOLDIER’S CORNER

Sixth grade teacher, Robert Paxton, is a member of the 2/278th ACR that is being deployed to Iraq.  He will be leaving in December and will not be returning to HMS until January 2011.

Also, Mrs. Carneal’s husband, Patrick, is in the same unit. We are so very proud of them and will be anxiously awaiting their safe return.
